In August of 2014 the Filarmonica Gioachino Rossini was invited to perform at the Rossini Opera Festival, a world renowned event devoted entirely to Rossini – the Swan of Pesaro – and now in its 35th edition.
The Filarmonica Gioachino Rossini took part in the production of “The Journey to Reims” under the direction of Ivan Lopez Reynoso, accompanying the talented young singers selected by Alberto Zedda from the Accademia Rossiniana.

Great acclaim by critics and public alike met the highly anticipated recital by Polish Contralto Ewa Podles, who performed with Filarmonica Gioachino Rossini under the direction of Carlo Tenan.
