The 36th edition of the Festival, to be held in Pesaro next August 10-22, features the return to Pesaro of directors such as Graham Vick (for “The Fortunate Deception”) and Damiano Michieletto (for “The Thieving Magpie”) and the new Gazzetta, by Marco Carniti, with the participation of the recently rediscovered Quintet. Usual training ground for the young talents of the Accademia Rossiniana, is “The Journey to Reims”. Among the concerts, besides Bel Canto recitals, feature “The Glory Mass” and Stabat Mater.
